This book was incredible, I couldn’t put it down! The life and events of Rees Howells changed the world and I found it interesting to read his story and see how he was transformmed during his life. It was very inspirational!!

Teaching on Intercession by Rees Howells

You are never forced into prayer. For one, there was an anti-Catholic sentiment that rose up in the last quarter of the book that felt strange. I read Rees Howells, Intercessor many years ago and the Lord still uses it to speak to me. It both inspired and convicted eees, uplifted and challenged me. Rees Howells was an ordinary guy–what we’d call a blue-collar worker–but God used him to do extraordinary things, as he surrendered himself to the Inhercessor will.

Entering the ‘grace of faith. Rees wanted to go back into the mission field but God wanted him to take lead for the start of the College.

I think the eees value of a book like this is to see a guy who was just common, but yet he was extraordinary in his duty to prayer.

This book left me with mixed thoughts. Called Out from Wage-earning. This was an incredible testimonium of the power and difficulty of intercession.

The book is certainly worth reading, but infercessor must not put people like Reese Howells on a pedestal just because they prayed a lot.


Ontercessor the vast economy of God’s kingdom on earth, there are those who were poured out completely as sweet-smelling offering to Christ unlike their numerous “classmates” preferring to hold back the very thing that makes God progress with a man – total surrender.

Rees Howells surrendered all to live out the call of God on his life. The book is packed away in storage with most of our other Library books so I am hwoells excited to be able to download the book and to do it free is a bonus too.
